[Meme] Top Ten Tuesday : Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR

Another Tuesday another Top Ten Tuesday! This week's theme is Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR! Tada~

For those who don't know, Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by fabolous ladies from The Broke and The Bookish, each Tuesday has each theme, just click on the button above for list of all the themes, future and past.

Honestly, I don't really like making a TBR list, it's kind of limiting my reading list, like scheduling it, and I like reading something on a whim instead. But well, if I have to schedule my TBR list for winter, I guess these are those.

1. The Madman's Daughter by Megan Shepherd
2. Her Dark Curiosity by Megan Shepherd

I'm going to bring these two to my hometown visit next month, around 20th to 24th December. Why these books is because I have the paperback copies for the first book and e-arc for the second book, and I was just gonna bring one book so it won't be that heavy and if I enjoy it, I have the second book in hand. It's like killing two birds with one throw.

3. Dua Saudara karya Jhumpa Lahiri
4. Dengan Cinta dan Kesengsaraan karya J.D. Salinger
5. The Curious Case of Benjamin Button karya F. Scott Fitzgerald
6. The Bear Came Over the Mountain karya Alice Munro.

These four books are for the December read for my book club and I kind of shock when I found out the thickness of these books, or the thinness for this matter. I mean, really? They are less than a hundred page each.

7. Silence by Becca Fitzpatrick

I really intended to make a review of the first book, but a lot of things happened, so I just kinda moved on to the second one instead.

8. Lullaby by Amanda Hocking

I already opened the book and read it to third chapter I guess, but there are just some things I need to prepare before I read it again, and I guess that will take a pretty long time.

9. Spellcaster by Claudia Gray

Actually, I don't have this book, my friend does. So I'm going to borrow it from her since I am perfectly sure she will never read it. That's just the kind of girl she is.

10. The Death Cure by James Dashner

I intended to finish it, I swear! But it's just SO BORING! I mean, Thomas just disappointed me and stuff happened and I forgot about this book at all. But I'll pick it up again some time next year, I don't know, maybe.

  3. I'm not that familiar with any of these. I am curious about The Death Cure, though. If it's that boring, why bother finishing it?

    1. I guess, it has anything to do with satisfaction. After all, The Death Cure is the last series of The Maze Runner, and there are just so many secrets. Can you imagine not knowing anything at all just because it's boring?
I have to know! I guess..
