Saya ngga sengaja melihat trailer movie buku ini sewaktu ngubek-ngubek booktube. Dan saya menitikan air mata menontonnya, padahal hanya trailer.

Jadi saya langsung hunting ebooknya buat dibaca sebelum filmnya keluar tanggal 22 Agustus nanti.

Bukunya memang tidak punya kick yang sama seperti trailernya. Everything seemed like went with the flow. But just like that. Kehidupan Mia berubah sepenuhnya.

Saya awalnya biasa saja dengan buku ini. Tidak ada tangisan. Just reading. Tapi ketika kakek Mia membisikan pesan ke telinga Mia. I lost it.

"I just wanted to tell you that I understand if you go. It's okay if you have to leave us. It's okay if you want to stop fighting."

Saya suka bagaimana Mia menflashback kehidupannya bersama teman-temannya, keluarganya. Bagaimana neneknya yang percaya pada malaikat. Sahabatnya Kim yang outrageous. Keluarga kecilnya yang damai dan menyenangkan. Dan Adam. Pria yang jatuh cinta padanya saat dia bermain cello.
